I am considering attending online Doctorate of Social Work program. My future goal is to be able to teach within higher education. I was wondering about the job aspect and how well an online degree would hold when applying for jobs after the online program is completed.

I’m thinking about my undergraduate degree and I know I want to major in psychology. I also know I want to get a masters or doctorate in some degree of psychology. My question is, how much do graduate psychology programs look at the school you are coming from? For example if I were to go to UIC would they look at me differently then going to University of Minnesota, a different big 10 school or a different university?

I currently have an MBA earned and would like to earn a Doctorate in Finance or a DBA. What online schools would offer the best program if there is really no difference between the school types. I plan on using my degree for teaching purposes.

I have a doctorate degree that was extremely accelerated and it left my GPA a little less than perfect. Does anyone know of any online health care degree programs that will accept students with GPAs less than 3.0. Ideally, I would like a degree from a college that exists outside of the online world. Thanks for any suggestions.

I recently completed a Masters at the University Of phoenix on site. I am currently contemplating pursuing a Doctor of education Degree. Is it possible that anyone might give me some advice on the program?

My ultimate career goal is to teach at a community college or a small college or university. I have a MSW but can’t find a college level teaching job with this degree. If I get a Ph.d online will any college take me serious? Would the institution hire someone with a online doctorate degree. The only reason I am considering this route is because I don’t have to jump 50 hoops to be accepted into a program. I’m looking for some serious answers only. If you have experience with this situation please comment.

I also have Masters Degree in Education and Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. Currently, I am in my first year as a doctoral candidate for an Educational Leadership degree with Argosy University.

I am energetic, creative and I am able to employ a variety of instructional strategies to reach the diversity of learners in a classroom. I have always been interested in teaching in an institute of higher learning.

Your program will provide an excellent opportunity for me to utilize my academic background in education, religion and philosophy to help students make connections between what they learn in the classroom and what they learn in the real world.
